GDQ has already fulfilled a very significant need in Albania. Since 1993, we have met the educational needs of missionary children in Tirana. We have a solid international curriculum, a quality teaching staff and wonderful facility. We are fully compliant with the Albanian Ministry of Education. Our aim is to participate in the continual improvement of the educational standard of our host country. The Albanian Government is strongly pro-western (European Union and United States). Expatriates from Western nations enjoy a great deal of respect from the Albanian people.

Strategic Importance
Teaching children at the GDQ assists missionary parents to equip Albanian Christians to lead and reach their own country. Furthermore, Albania is beginning to send its own workers regionally within the Balkans. Eventually, trained Albanian missionaries will freely travel to countries closed to Westerners.
